Additionally, because we love you.
Along with the new site, we have some exclusive goodies for you.
The first are the lyrics from the 'Ready For This?' show. If you've seen them elsewhere, then they're not official as we're the first ones to host the ones as written by Tim Minchin himself.
Secondly, we have the Rosencrantz track 'Understand It' for download in the music section; if you've seen the 'Rock And Roll Nerd' doco then you'll know it as the track that's played at the end. I've been asked to point out though that it is a demo recording that was made in Tim's bedroom and so the sound quality isn't on a par with regular CDs but it is entirely listenable.
Welcome home!
Well hello there. Aren't we all looking pretty? As you've probably noticed we've had a bit a bit of a makeover as well as adding a few extra bits here and there. Let's see what's new with the place, shall we?
For starters we've got this shiny news page, on which all manner of Tim related news will be posted. You can keep up to speed with it externally with our RSS feed or our lovely Twitter feed; links on the right.
Then we have the gig's page, a list of Tim's upcoming and past gigs, with an inbuilt attendance function so that other members of the site can see who's going to what gig. Nifty, eh?
Moving on, we have a music section, with all the Tim Minchin lyrics you could ever want as well as free downloads of certain tracks, cos Tim and I are nice like that. There's also the opportunity for you musos to upload your transcriptions of Tim's music so that other people can play them. For now it's only jpgs and text files as it keeps things standardised and easy for the database to cope with but if there's call for it we might be able to open that up.
Photos is self-explanatory, upload your photos from gigs, including ones of you and Tim together looking inevitably cute and lovely, and the reviews is pretty much the same, allowing you to post your views of a night's events.
Press is something that's currently being built up, in time it will have an extensive collection of Tim interviews, reviews and various other things from magazines and newspapers for you to read.
I do hope you like the changes.
