The Perfect 'Storm' Movie!
Tim's 9-minute beat poem, 'Storm' is being made into an animated movie. There is now a production blog up here with links to the RSS feed, Twitter feed and a Facebook page.
The blog will have lots of regular news updates, information and even character designs and videos - so well worth keeping an eye on. There will soon be a teaser trailer up too.
What a great way to start 2010 with the build up to this!
BIG FAT QUIZ OF THE YEAR 2009 erm...*wink*
Well the BIG FAT QUIZ OF THE YEAR 2009 is on at 21.00 - 23.00, Channel 4, on New Years Day.
Jimmy Carr hosts again and the teams include: Charlie Brooker, David Mitchell, Jonathan Ross, Russell Brand, Rob Brydon and Claudia Winkleman.
It's such a pity Tim was already in Oz when it was filmed this year, as I'm sure we'd all love to see him on it... Still it's a fun show and so may be worth a looksie anyway... *wink*
Disclaimer: *wink* is in the 'we're pretty sure/hopeful' category as a lot can happen between 'stuff happening' and the final edit ...

'White Wine in the Sun' looks set to be played on Jonathan Ross's Radio 2 show tomorrow 10am - 1pm.
Tim donates 50% of December sales to Autism Research
50% of the proceeds from the December sales of 'White Wine in the Sun' are going to Autism research.
This is a disability Tim feels is poorly funded with its causes and treatment still not well understood.
Update: The charity Tim is delighted to be supporting is The National Autistic Society.
'White Wine in the Sun' can be "gifted" via iTunes
Apparently you can gift individual songs or playlists via iTunes. Simply click "Gift This Music" under the information on the single's page. However, it will ask the recipient to download iTunes if they do not already have it or to update if below Version 6.
Just think, this is a Tim song which may even be suitable for your nan or great aunt...if they have iTunes as well as bright lipstick that is...
Oh well - a nice way to send it to anyone with the technology, I reckon.

Tim's Christmas song on Scott Mills today - 16th Dec 09
Tim was on the Scott Mills Show on Radio 1 today. You'll be able to Listen Again here soon. Tim was on about 5.25pm.
There was a short phone interview from the Perth Concert Hall and 'White Wine in the Sun' was played. Not all the way through but enough to hear its beauty and humour.
It still seems to be climbing the iTunes chart and the airplay should be helpful.

So our Minchin is aiming to get into the Christmas charts this year. Who could complain about that? Imagine all the new fans he'd get.
